This was a collaborative Paint By Numbers project involving 72 patients and staff at Russells Hall Hospital in Dudley, celebrating the refurbishment of the building.Patients and staff who wished to be involved were each given a painting kit with a canvas, on which was a numbered section of the final image to complete.
The completed painting shows the main entrance to the Russells Hall and is on display in the hospital.
This was a second collaborative Paint By Numbers Project involving 81 staff and patients at the Cancer Center of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham.Patients and staff who wished to be involved again were each given a painting kit with a canvas, on which was a numbered section of the final image to complete. The image to be used,of the Tropical Pool at the Botanical Gardens in Birmingham, and title of the painting were chosen by the staff at the hospital.The painting was exhibited at the Botanical gardens for a month, and patients and staff who took part were invited to the Botanical Gardens to see it.
